DNS Domain Name System– Internet service for mapping between domain names and their respective IP numbers
Firewall Network protective software
Gateway Transformation device from one protocol to another; or the exit point of a network to the Internet/larger network.
H.323 Internet standard for Internet telephony Interoperability
HTTP Hyper Text Transfer Protocol – Wildly used Internet standard – The protocol behind WWW -World Wide Web
iAM Internet Auto-answering Machine. A web page that is opened when a person is not available to receive the call. Caller can leave text or voice message. 
IP Internet Protocol
iPBX Internet Private Branch eXchange – a service that performs PBX or switchboard functions on the Internet and allows our customers to operate a web based call center. A web site with iPBX can get enhance live voice and text chats between sales reps and surfers.
iPN "Internet Phone Number" is the identity supplied by SipTelecom for Internet phone calls. Similar to Email address identify a user on the Internet.
IpnAgent SipTelecom client software in support of IPN.
IpnGateway SipTelecom propriety software to allow SIP agent connect behind a firewall/NAT
IpnSetup SipTelecom software installation program. It is downloaded from the net and used to install SipTelecom IpnAgent.
IPP Internet Presence service Provider – Internet business which provide web hosting services for web sites
ISDN Integrated Services Digital Network – Snail telephony standard for transmitting 64/128 KB over the copper wire. Supersede by the ADSL technology.
ISP Internet Service Provider– Business that provides connectivity services to the Internet. Typically used on dial up lines with modem.
NAT Network Address Translation – Technique to map inner IP numbers to a single external Public IP address. Evolved due to the relative scarcity of IP addresses. Present one of the biggest challenges to Internet Telephony.
PBX "Private Branch Exchange" also known as "switch board", derived from snail telephony world.
POTS Plain Old Telephony System – Snail telephony is USA
PSTN Public Switch Telephony Network – Snail telephony PBX in Europe
QMS Queue Management Server– SipTelecom's own propriety telecom server
Queue In our context –a certain IPBX within the QMS.
Router Hardware that routes IP packets between sub-networks.
SIP "Session Initiation Protocol" is an Internet protocol designed by IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) and promoted by SipTelecom, applying it to its own propriety QMS technology. This protocol used to interconnect various end-user devices such as Internet Phone, PSTN, cellular, fax. e-mail etc.
SMS "Short Message Service" protocol for sending messages to cellular phones.
TSP Telephony Service Provider
Voice client Software that supports chat by voice through a microphone with other people over the Internet. The voice chat connection may be established either by direct addressing of IPS, or via a special directory listing.  The iPN system provides a simple method of establishing the connection. In order to get a call, your caller just has to click on your private iPN.
Voicemail Control SipTelecom software that enables users to accept voice mail from people.
