iPN
Internet Phone Number (iPN) is an easy-to-use web identification number, which can connect individuals to you for text, voice and/or video conversation through the Internet. It is a URL comprised of three parts:
SipTelecom's server address and port: http://qms.siptele.com:8080

iPBX name, the directory in which your iPN is stored.

Your user name.

Example of an iPN: http://qms.siptele.com:8080/q1/call_request?userName

The SIP format is: sip:userName@qms.SipTele.com

How do I use my iPN?
The Internet phone number is used similarly to a conventional number. Linking your iPN at your web site with a label "Call me" or "Talk to me online", integrates it with a smart Internet telephone system which allows you to receive Internet calls. You may answer calls online, or use voice/text messages if you do not answer the call.

Your connection to the Internet is an acknowledgment to our server that you are ready to receive Internet calls. When a surfer calls you, a browser window pops up, and you may accept or reject the call. If you choose to accept it, you will see a chat screen.

Calling others via iPN
Your iPN is similar to a free 1-800 number. You can receive free calls but you can only place calls to other iPN owners.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Multiple extensions iPN
If you wish to receive several calls simultaneously, use iPBX.
iPBX allows your employees to define Internet Phone Numbers (iPNs), and receive business calls from customers directly from the web site, e-mail messages and banners. During these calls, sales representatives may co-browse with their customers, showing web pages, and filling forms. Businesses may receive call events data into their own database or use SipTelecom's service for call related reporting.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is iAM?
The iAM is a free software component that enables callers to record voice mail messages over the Internet to iPN owners.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How do I receive calls to my iPN?
Your iPN is an HTTP:// link. To receive calls, simply add it to your website and e-mail. Once clicked, you will receive a call to your computer. If you are offline, the caller will leave you a voice or text message. Callers are not required to have an iPN and the call can be made from any browser.

You can add the following HTML code to any web page. This will add a image with a link to your iPN. Edit this HTML code, add your iPN instead of "Your iPN" and then paste it to your web pages.

The HTML code (copy & paste): <a href="Your iPN"><img src="http://www.siptele.com/Images/ipncall.gif" border="0" />
(Replace the iPN you have in the "href=" phrase).

How do I create my personal iAM?
iAM – Internet Answering Machine is a web page that loads onto your callers' browsers when you are unavailable to take their Internet call. Your iAM is already configured with the default setting.
